ewhat less obvious or even completely hidden. The edit link's location is controlled exclusively through the page template. 

Note: While an edit link is still present on our main site, it is a single character in the lower left of the footer. You might have already noticed the pi symbol (∏). As is true with the edit link on this page, holding the mouse over it to display the alt-text will show you not only a short message telling you that you can login there, but it also displays the page's build time. The build time is the time taken from the initial page request until when the fully rendered output is sent to the visitor's browser.

Category Editing:
The category navigation, displayed to the left on this site, is also editable. While the user interface is available from a button edit page text page, for your convenience and for the purpose of demonstration, access to it is also provided here with a link at the bottom titled "Edit Navigation Categories".

For our purposes here in this demonstration the HOME page also demonstrates how the left hand navigation menu items (the links in the blue area to the left) are treated when viewing the default HOME page. Note that none of the underlying content page links or category links are displayed. The only categories shown here are ones defined as having HOME as a parent category. Each category may contain sub-categories and/or page links.

So the purpose of all the text here is to be used as a demonstration for your experimentation and testing. Please feel free to edit this text to your heart's content, that is what it is here for. But please understand, you may not be the only one here editing text and the content might be somewhat questionable, depending on the morals of the last person to edit it. Hey, its the Internet, there is no telling...

You should also be aware that we do periodically "reset" the contents here in their entirety. So anything that you write here will eventually be lost. When and how often is a secret and we are not telling...
